Bueno Power Fight Hour : King of Fighters ’95 – Arthur Bueno

I wanted to take a bit more time on these videos just to have a better analysis on how the controller behaves with the game. On KOF ’95 for the Game Boy I noticed quite a bit of care was done with the control mechanics trying to emulate the console and arcade experience. What I realized, however, is the fact that it had a more unique approach on how handheld consoles should handle fighting games.

This game was a good representation of that. With it being a black and white game I had no problem enjoying what they could offer in the system. I wish they had a bit more content like endings for each character and such, but with the amount of power handhelds had at the time it’s still impressive to see how much they could stuff into one game. Even then the game had aged beautifully and I don’t think I would want to change anything about it. If you ever get a chance to play this game do it.
